Tipi wedding reception on a farm
A privilege to be photographing a second wedding at a family farm in Milnow nr Rochdale.
A morning at the farm and then a vintage bus trip to the Church in picturesque Turton. Amazing how many of these hidden gems England has. Unusually it was Tom's father conducting the ceremony which was sure to make it a very personal affair.
Back at the farm to glorious weather with the panoramic views over Manchester topped with a variety of stunning skies through the day and evening. A parhelion (looks like a tiny sideways rainbow) even showed.
"Granddad's tractor" popular with the little ones who had a whole field to run around in. The tipi was extensive for the larger than average wedding and managed to fit in the "Good Guys Orchestra", dancefloor and an indoor fire - you wait years for a wedding with marsh-mellow toasting and then two come along at once!
