wonderful informal wedding with homemade food
Kirstie sent me one of the best email enquiry for a wedding I've ever had. Lots of info of how they wanted the day to run.
One bullet point (yes there were bullet points!) stood out:
I’m on a budget and have done lots of professional cooking so I’m catering myself with the help of my family. Would love some photos of me with a pretty pinny on putting the finishing touches to the food!
The food was really lovely and Kirstie now has The Blue Teapot cafe in Mytholmroyd, nr Hebden Bridge.
The first few images are from a hazy morning in Beddgelert where Kirstie was staying at the Quarryman cottage. At the start of the wedding at Llyn gwynant Barn, Kirstie and Pete came up the aisle together, not seen that before. Pete's mum emotional at the end as they had just missed the start of the ceremony. Although a breezy day (exhibit A: bridesmaid running after veil!) we made time for the photographs by the lake that Kirstie and Pete really wanted. My partner Ren found some bluebells on a more sheltered hillside. Ceilidh dancing with live music finished off the day.
