I have to say I think late September is a great time of year for photographing a wedding.
Doesn’t go dark too early. Not really cold, not really hot. Sun not so high, shadows not hard. The leaves are changing.
Hannah made some really great choices from her bouquet to the room that had a lovely autumn feel.
(the bouquet was from Eden florists, uppermill)
Hannah and Dad at the house and then church:

Dobcross church is wonderful for photos I think. I thought everyone would want to see this.
Took a bit of trust to believe everyone would be in the shot, a fish-eye lens is such a good option to have.

The band at the back of the church, perfectly arranged (it would be nice to claim credit but they sorted themselves out!).

I love confetti shots and this one is one of my favorites:

We stopped off at Brun Clough Reservoir on the way to the reception at Marsden Mechanics Institute.
A very natural couple and somehow the setting really seemed to suit them.
(although these few are mine, I have a great choice from Jen’s photos also)

And one at 8pm in Marsden.
Thanks to the guys that came down and looked after my camera bag and made sure I didn’t get run over![]()

Hope you enjoy these few images, have a great time on honeymoon.
P.S. Hello to Janet and Lesley!
