Ruth won the auction for a portrait package making a very generous donation of £200 for Christie’s Oldham Radiotherapy Centre.
I’m really glad Ruth won the auction, I got to meet her lovely family and amazing mother-in-law.
Now, one shouldn’t mention a lady’s age. Enough to say that she is 73 years older than her grandson!
