James & Sarah, Norton Grange

Some churches are picked for weddings because they are picturesque. You’d not put Heywood Baptist church in that category. Its then you find out what is really important for a church wedding – the people. With a wonderful service, the church band with singers and some time for the guests to enjoy a drink, biscuit...

Emma & Mike, Isla Gladstone Conservatory

me__492

I’m sure Emma and Mike picked their venue hoping for a sunny late July day but the umbrellas had to be ready for what looked like was going to be a very rainy day: I spotted a large painting in the house of a girl and a piano. This was my version of it: St...

Jason & Rebecca, Hey Green

I’d met Rebecca and and her sister Fiona at Nick and Danielle’s lovely wedding in 2007. Here is a before and after of sorts in the morning… Bride and dad coming along the path to Springhead Congregational Church: I think generally people are more relaxed when the ceremony is in a church they have been...

Andrew, the photographs are amazing. You really have captured every emotion and event of our special day! We can’t wait to share the photographs with everyone and to choose some for the album and the wall! (I’ve been told by Jay that I have limited wall space!) I know this will be a difficult task because there are so many to choose from! Thanks again for everything!

Bev & Sharon – Heaton Park, Manchester

July 17th 2010 -the third wedding in 8 days was for Bev and Sharon at Heaton Hall. A great day to photograph, an emotional ceremony, a lot of handmade items like the wonderful table plan and, best of all, two dresses I had no idea the ceremony room was so lovely inside. Really good to...

Andrew… thank you. As you know, Bev and I are absolutely over the moon with all of the fabulous pictures you have taken for us. We both feel you have caught all the emotion of the day – the joy, the love, the nerves, the humour and the happiness!! The photographs are very natural too, considering we were both very nervous about being the focus of all that attention on the day – you were unobtrusive and very professional throughout despite the hurdles thrown at you (such as the rainy weather!). Your friendly manner with all the guests was commented on by many who attended and the feedback we have had from everyone has been so positive. Finally I have to say that as a same-sex couple celebrating our Civil Patnership after 25 years together – we would recommend you to any other gay couples who are plannng their ‘Big Day’ – we researched and met many other photographers and choosing you was definitely the right decision Andrew – we knew that from the start!! love Sharon XX

Anne and Mike Sims - August 15, 2010 - 6:31 pm

What a stunning wedding and the photos are just fabulous. Not your average regimental type at all very natural photography. Credit to your photographer but also full credit to you both for a wonderful wedding, you really did surpass yourselves for everyone.

We send our love to you both and just know you will be very happy together for another 25 years.

Matthew & Katie – St Anne’s / White Hart

I really enjoyed the morning with Katie and bridesmaids. Katie had written a card for each bridesmaid and there was a good bit of emotion mixed in with the fun. Great shot of the dress material and dad and the bridesmaids as they walk past the corner of the church. That puts me behind a...
